Dan joined the team in 2010 as an apprentice developer (Robin: it doesn't seem like yesterday! I'm getting old...) and since then has developed into a well-rounded senior software developer. He especially enjoys working with the Alpha Anywhere development toolset.
Dan works mainly from client sites or our Telford office. He is very popular with clients and is an excellent business analyst.
Out of work, Dan enjoys motorsport and working on his rally cars (he is a successful rally driver).

Alpha Validator update released
The automated survey data checking feature within asbestos software Alpha Tracker (known as "AlphaValidator") has been updated again. This follows on from the update released on 11 December (more info here ). an example of AlphaValidator's data check output This update - v1.0.74 SVN25 - is ready now to download from our website and improves the way photos of asbestos samples are validated . Please do contact the Start Software Support Desk (available 24x7!) if you would like help installing the update.

We are open for business as usual throughout the Christmas and New Year period. Thursday 24 December: Office closes at 4pm Friday 25 December: Closed Monday 28 December: Closed Tuesday 29 December: Open with reduced staffing levels Wednesday 30 December: Open with reduced staffing levels Thursday 31 December: Open with reduced staffing levels Friday 1 January: Closed As usual, we are not sending Christmas cards to clients but instead we are donating to our favourite charity, the RNLI . We wish all of our customers a Happy Christmas and a healthy and prosperous New Year.
