Tracker Dashboard is now compatible with SendGrid for better email delivery and tracking

Our asbestos software, Alpha Tracker, sends emails to staff and clients via our Tracker Dashboard module.

Tracker Dashboard previously needed an email server to connect to - otherwise known as an "SMTP" server.

We have updated Tracker Dashboard so that you can now use the SendGrid service as an alternative to using SMTP.

So why might SendGrid be useful?  SendGrid has some important benefits over SMTP:

  • SendGrid is better at delivering emails - fewer will go into Junk

  • SendGrid can track emails delivered (and those which are not!) - in an easy-to-see format

  • SendGrid handles bulk emails better than SMTP - you are less likely to be flagged as a spammer.

Alpha Validator update released

The automated survey data checking feature within asbestos software Alpha Tracker (known as "AlphaValidator") has been updated again.  This follows on from the update released on 11 December (more info here ). an example of AlphaValidator's data check output This update - v1.0.74 SVN25 - is ready now to download from our website and improves the way photos of asbestos samples are validated . We've listened to you - no more form timers!

Alpha Legal users and their clients have never liked the timers that encouraged forms to be completed in a set amount of time.  We extended them from 60 minutes to 2 hours in the last update, but that still was inconvenient for many users.  We've listened to you and scrapped the timers completely!    This change will make the whole process of uploading ID documents easier and less stressful for your clients (and, don't worry, just as secure as before). Dan and the Alpha Legal team are listening! If you have any more ideas to improve Alpha Legal, get in touch .  We love to hear from you.
