We showed two of Alpha Tracker's best features in quite a bit of detail.  We covered:

  • the Wallboard - Alpha Tracker's planning tool which uses information from projects and the diary

  • Map Scheduling - ideal when filling diaries with short, low-value jobs (eg domestic surveys or water hygiene work).
Sorry if you joined at 13:30 expecting to watch live.  Zoom had become confused about GMT vs BST and the clocks moving forward at the weekend baffled us all completely!  It probably didn't help that Dan & Kim were in Telford and I was 6 hours ahead in Indonesia (working with two of our Alpha Tracker developers who are based here).

Alpha Validator update released

The automated survey data checking feature within asbestos software Alpha Tracker (known as "AlphaValidator") has been updated again.  This follows on from the update released on 11 December (more info here ). an example of AlphaValidator's data check output This update - v1.0.74 SVN25 - is ready now to download from our website and improves the way photos of asbestos samples are validated . Please do contact the Start Software Support Desk  (available 24x7!) if you would like help installing the update.

We are open for business as usual throughout the Christmas and New Year period. Thursday 24 December: Office closes at 4pm Friday 25 December: Closed Monday 28 December: Closed Tuesday 29 December: Open with reduced staffing levels Wednesday 30 December: Open with reduced staffing levels Thursday 31 December: Open with reduced staffing levels Friday 1 January: Closed As usual, we are not sending Christmas cards to clients but instead we are donating to our favourite charity, the RNLI . We wish all of our customers a Happy Christmas and a healthy and prosperous New Year.
