Major asbestos consultancy REC receive their Alpha Tracker training

Asbestos consultancy REC have received their initial training in Alpha Tracker, our web-based system designed to increase efficiency and reduce admin within environmental consultancies.

The initial training covered the Alpha Tracker basics:

- client and contact management
- logging projects and surveys
- scheduling work in the in-built diary
- capturing data on site using Tracker Mobile
- lab data entry
- report production.


REC have offices across the UK and will be rolling out Alpha Tracker and Tracker Mobile over the coming months.

Alpha Validator update released

The automated survey data checking feature within asbestos software Alpha Tracker (known as "AlphaValidator") has been updated again.  This follows on from the update released on 11 December (more info here ). an example of AlphaValidator's data check output This update - v1.0.74 SVN25 - is ready now to download from our website and improves the way photos of asbestos samples are validated . Please do contact the Start Software Support Desk  (available 24x7!) if you would like help installing the update.

We are open for business as usual throughout the Christmas and New Year period. Thursday 24 December: Office closes at 4pm Friday 25 December: Closed Monday 28 December: Closed Tuesday 29 December: Open with reduced staffing levels Wednesday 30 December: Open with reduced staffing levels Thursday 31 December: Open with reduced staffing levels Friday 1 January: Closed As usual, we are not sending Christmas cards to clients but instead we are donating to our favourite charity, the RNLI . We wish all of our customers a Happy Christmas and a healthy and prosperous New Year.
