We've had our ISO 9001 assessment today (it is 3 years - unbelieveably - since our first accreditation) and we've passed with flying colours!
Kim is our Quality Manager and this is all down to her hard work and the team's constant focus on doing things "by the book" and keeping customer satisfaction at the heart of everything we do.
We know we're not perfect, far from it, but we genuinely try to work efficiently, keep customers informed at all times, and focus on the quality of the software we produce. When an independent Lloyds' ISO 9001 quality assessor agrees and feels able to award our company this prestigious quality award with no reservations at all, it is really heartening and it affirms our belief in our company and staff.

Three emails just arrived one after the other - and each put a smile on our faces and a spring in our step! Feedback #1... "We smashed our audit! Thank you so much for your help" from a new customer where we have been providing Alpha Five support and mentoring to help them to develop an Intranet quality & audit system Feedback #2... "hi Tom. It looks fantastic! Very well done" from a client reviewing the latest changes to a web data analysis system we have written using Alpha Anywhere , SQL Server and JavaScript Feedback #3... " The launch of Alpha Tracker here is going really well ... thank you so much" from an asbestos consultancy feeling the benefits of their Alpha Tracker asbestos software installation. We really appreciate it when customers take the time to send us feedback like this - it makes the hard work seem worthwhile!
Taking ISO 9001 training will be very beneficial to anyone planning to take the course. Topics that are discussed in the course includes a brief history of the standard and then discussing the advantages this international model provides to any organization desiring to develop a quality management system built upon identifying the processes within a business, developing consistent production plans for that business and implementing structured improvements to succeed in today’s competitive marketplace.

ISO 9001 Training
This has been long overdue, but congratulations for your renewal! :) How has it been since your last assessment? ISO 9001 could really help a company throughout improving its maturity in quality management. Also, there would be better management control and reporting. In that way, the company would know from time to time on how its business is doing.

If there's one thing more difficult than getting than elusive ISO certification, it's retaining it! So congratulations to Kim for her hard work, and congrats to the company as well for following the guidelines.
