Tracker Web Server update (v1.0.227)


Some useful new features have been finalised in the latest Tracker Web Server update.
You can now allow or disallow your clients access to the following facilities:
- uploading their own documents to the document library
- deleting their own documents (with confirmation)
- creating their own sub-folders.
In addition, you can also allow or disallow the facility for clients to upload documents to the action and inspection sections of the site (on a client-by-client basis).

Alpha Validator update released

The automated survey data checking feature within asbestos software Alpha Tracker (known as "AlphaValidator") has been updated again.  This follows on from the update released on 11 December (more info here ). an example of AlphaValidator's data check output This update - v1.0.74 SVN25 - is ready now to download from our website and improves the way photos of asbestos samples are validated . We've listened to you - no more form timers!

Alpha Legal users and their clients have never liked the timers that encouraged forms to be completed in a set amount of time.  We extended them from 60 minutes to 2 hours in the last update, but that still was inconvenient for many users.  We've listened to you and scrapped the timers completely!    This change will make the whole process of uploading ID documents easier and less stressful for your clients (and, don't worry, just as secure as before). Dan and the Alpha Legal team are listening! If you have any more ideas to improve Alpha Legal, get in touch .  We love to hear from you.
