Tracker Upload Manager update available

We've just released an updated version of Tracker Upload Manager.  The update (v1.0.275 SVN57) is downloadable from http://www.start-software.com/tracker/modules/tracker-upload-manager/

This new version of the module has improved processing for close-up photos, especially those which have been annotated on site within Tracker Mobile (see http://robinbennett.blogspot.co.uk/2016/05/annotated-photos-now-available-in.html).

Latest software updates (Tracker Upload Manager & Alpha Tracker Document Maker)

We've updated our Tracker Upload Manager and Alpha Tracker Document Maker modules again to improve photo processing.  These are two of the modules that form part of our Tracker and Alpha Tracker asbestos software systems.

Tracker Upload Manager software update available

We've posted a bug-fix update to Tracker Upload Manager (the module that handles asbestos survey data transfer from Android or Apple smartphone or tablet to asbestos software Alpha Tracker).

Tracker Upload Manager runs silently on your Alpha Tracker server

This update is known as v1.0.232 SVN50 and improves the way that cover sheet (front page) asbestos report photos are handled in particular.

Busy week! New software updates, new clients, new staff

We've had a busy week with more software updates released for our asbestos software system Alpha Tracker, new clients coming on board and new staff learning the ropes too.

Some of the software updates released this week include:

• Tracker Upload Manager v1.0.220 SVN45 with improved handling of un-processed data
  
• Alpha Tracker Document Maker v1.4.560 SVN111 with new facilities to colour-code table rows and cells in asbestos reports using specific colours as specified by the client
  
• Alpha Tracker October 2015 beta 5 with the first new features for the October release ready for our asbestos consultancy beta testers to look at.

Specialist asbestos and environmental consultancy Worcestershire Scientific Services are ready for their admin training now that their asbestos surveyors are trained up to use Tracker Mobile.

Keep an eye on the beta releases this month for a major lab update and more performance improvements especially for staff needing to check and correct data before asbestos reports are produced.

Tracker Upload Manager v1.0.203 SVN40 released

Tracker Upload Manager is a key component of Alpha Tracker, our software system for asbestos consultancies, asbestos surveyors and other environmental specialists.

Tracker Upload Manager processes data from field staff (data transmitted from Tracker Mobile, our Android and Apple app) once a surveyor has checked the data and confirmed that all is ready to send.

This latest release of Tracker Upload Manager, v1.0.203, enables surveyors to take photographs of site plans drawn or annotated on site and upload them along with the other site data.  The plans are automatically saved into the job's Drawings sub-folder ready for the admin staff to complete before report production.

AlphaValidator v1.0.53 SVN19 released

This important update to AlphaValidator (v1.0.53 SVN19) gives the surveyor a new opportunity to "sign off" their submitted data before leaving site.

AlphaValidator is an important module within the Alpha Tracker family of asbestos software for environmental consultancies.  It checks data submitted by surveyors for problems or potential problems and emails them a "traffic light" red/amber/green report as soon as their data is uploaded.

This update to the module also enables the surveyor to formally "sign off" the data as being correct in their opinion:

Tracker Upload Manager updated to v1.0.161 SVN32

Tracker Upload Manager, the Tracker & Alpha Tracker component that handles the processing of data from asbestos surveyors and other field staff, has been updated to v1.0.161 SVN32 and is available for immediate download.

This version has improved photo processing features and performs better for consultancies with 100+ asbestos surveyors.

The latest version of Tracker Upload Manager has been released.

This version, v1.0.157 SVN31, has improved processing of photos taken by asbestos surveyors (especially close-up photos).

AlphaValidator updated and ready for download

The latest version of AlphaValidator, v1.0.34 SVN13, is now ready and available for download.

This latest version has new data checks, improves some of the existing ones (especially when checking close-up photos) and has cosmetic improvements too.

AlphaValidator is our flexible data checking and validation tool which can perform up to 36 different automated checks when an asbestos surveyor uploads data and/or before an asbestos report is produced. The checks can be survey-specific or more general - contact the office for advice.

New version of Tracker Upload Manager available - v1.0.155 SVN30

The latest Tracker Upload Manager has been released and is available now for download from http://www.start-software.com/tracker/modules/tracker-upload-manager/.

Tracker Upload Manager is part of the Alpha Tracker and Tracker software family and has the job of processing incoming data and photos from asbestos surveyors and other environmental auditing staff (using Tracker Mobile).

This latest version, v1.0.155 SVN30, improves the logging of actions in the system (useful if a surveyor queries data sent in) and also has an improved link to our new data validation system, AlphaValidator.

New link from Tracker Upload Manager to AlphaValidator

The latest Tracker Upload Manager has been released with important new functionality.

Tracker Upload Manager v1.0.141 SVN25 can automatically run appropriate data validation tests via AlphaValidator as soon as data is uploaded by a surveyor providing them (and the admin team) instant feedback by email if any data is missing or invalid.

Updated Tracker Upload Manager module now available

The latest version of Tracker Upload Manager is now available for use.

Tracker Upload Manager v1.0.131 SVN23 has the option of using encrypted "STARTTLS" connections when accessing mail servers enabling it to be used with Microsoft Office365 accounts, for example.

Tracker Upload Manager v1.0.129 SVN22 released

Tracker Upload Manager (TUM) is a key component of our Tracker and Alpha Tracker asbestos surveying systems.  TUM monitors the incoming data from asbestos surveyors in the field, sending them emailed receipts for processed data and alerting admin teams that data is ready to be checked.

The latest version of Tracker Upload Manager, v1.0.129 SVN22, has a number of performance updates and bug fixes and is ready to be downloaded.

Close-up photos now available in Alpha Tracker

It is now possible to take two photographs of each asbestos sample or other suspect item within Alpha Tracker.  The first photograph would be the overview; the second would be a zoomed-in "close up".

To make use of this facility, you need:

1. Alpha Tracker SVN306 or later
2. the latest Tracker Mobile handheld asbestos software
3. the updated Tracker Upload Manager program (at least v1.4.233 SVN18)
4. Alpha Tracker Document Maker service v1.4.247 SVN24 or later.

Major Tracker Upload Manager update released

The next release of Tracker Upload Manager is now ready.

Tracker Upload Manager is the module which manages the asbestos survey data coming from asbestos surveyors' iPads, iPhones and Android smartphones & tablets, emailing receipts and also checking that data has been successfully processed and doesn't have duplicated sample numbers or missing photos.

The latest version, v1.0.115 SVN18, has much more comprehensive information incorporated into the email receipts and more robust data checks.

Tracker Upload Manager v1.0.79 released

Tracker Upload Manager manages the incoming asbestos survey data from asbestos surveyors when sending data to Tracker or Alpha Tracker from Tracker Mobile.

v1.0.79 of Tracker Upload Manager is now available with some performance improvements and changes enabling customers to work with up to 1,000,000 asbestos survey and asbestos reinspection projects.

Tracker Upload Manager v1.0.73 SVN11 released

This release of Tracker Upload Manager (part of the Tracker and Alpha Tracker suite of software for asbestos consultants and asbestos surveyors) has a new feature.

Previously, Tracker Upload Manager would text the surveyor once data had been received.  With surveyors generally having email access on their smartphone or tablet, many clients had asked for this to be an option only (with emailing being the default method of notification).

Tracker Upload Manager v1.0.73 SVN11 provides this option.
