Important Tracker Web Server update

If your asbestos consultancy uses our asbestos software client portal - Tracker Web Server - you need to be aware of an important update.

Tracker Web Server v1.5.586 SVN93 (available to download from http://www.start-software.com/tracker/modules/tracker-web-server/) resolves an issue which a recent web browser update has introduced.  The problem affected client document uploads and may have caused uploads to fail.

We've just posted an update to our popular Tracker Web Server asbestos management portal.

The new version - v1.5.549 SVN88 - has improved the appearance of the non-asbestos (general building material) registers and also has improved search performance across the whole portal.

Tracker Web Server v1.5.515 SVN78 released

The latest update to Tracker Web Server, the online portal for the Tracker asbestos software system, has been released.

Tracker Web Server v1.5.515 SVN78 is a bug-fix release and also contains important updates relating to:

- SSL (secure) connections
- the ability to show customised messages to client for individual sites
- client notes and a new option to allow them to be optionally suppressed on registers.

Tracker Web Server v1.5.494 (SVN74) available

An updated version of Tracker Web Server, the client portal for the Tracker software system for asbestos surveyors and asbestos consultancies, has been released.

This new version, v1.5.494 SVN74, has improved functionality for secure (SSL) access to the web server.

Tracker Web Server v1.5.484 SVN70 available

The latest version of the Tracker client portal (Tracker Web Server) is ready and available for use.

Tracker Web Server enables documents and data (especially asbestos data) to be viewed and downloaded over the web from consultancies using the Tracker or Alpha Tracker asbestos systems.

This latest version, v1.5.484 SVN70, has a number of performance improvements and a bug-fix relating to the display of no-access registers.

This new version of Tracker Web Server has additional system settings including the option of displaying hyperlinks from the site and building menus to display registers of removed asbestos items.

Second UK asbestos consultancy reaches 100,000 project landmark

I blogged back in May (see http://robinbennett.blogspot.co.uk/2013/05/tracker-user-reaches-milestone-100000.html) about our first asbestos consultancy customer reaching the 100,000 project landmark - that's a lot of asbestos reports produced using Tracker technology!

The next asbestos consultancy has reached the same milestone with 100,000 asbestos reports produced using the Tracker product family - Tracker Mobile for the surveyors' asbestos data capture, Tracker Document Maker for the asbestos survey report production, and Tracker Web Server securely publishing the asbestos reports over the Internet for the customer to read.

Tracker Web Server v1.5.452 SVN62

This new release of Tracker Web Server, the client web portal for customers of asbestos consultants and asbestos consultancies working with Tracker and Alpha Tracker, has these improvements:

• linked graphics now display without blue borders when the Tracker Web Server site is accessed using Internet Explorer
• if there are no remedial actions logged, the system will not attempt to calculate overdue action percentages
• performance improvements and better error trapping throughout.

Tracker Web Server v1.5.440 SVN61 released

This is a cosmetic upgrade to Tracker Web Server, the web portal for client access to asbestos data from asbestos consultancies and asbestos surveyors running Tracker or Alpha Tracker.

This release has improved graphics throughout including file icons in the client document library.

Tracker Web Server v1.5.436 SVN59 released

This is a cool upgrade to Tracker Web Server offering you a brand new menu style - much more interactive and "web 2.0" than the old one!

The new menu style is an option so you can switch users between the two styles if you want.

The new menu design enhances Tracker Web Server, the client portal for asbestos management (part of the Tracker family of software for asbestos consultancies and asbestos surveyors).

Tracker Web Server v1.5.429 SVN57

This is a minor maintenance release of Tracker Web Server (TWS) with improved "logout" functionality working more efficiently on all browsers including Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox and Safari.

It also has some major performance improvements (introduced in 1.5.427) which make certain operations at least 5x faster.

TWS is our integrated client web service providing asbestos survey reports, asbestos registers, action management, compliance tools and document library facilities for clients of asbestos surveyors and asbestos consultancies using our Tracker and AlphaTracker product families.

This is a maintenance release of Tracker Web Server, the web-based compliance management system for clients of environmental and health-and-safety consultancies.

This update enables you to set client-specific welcome messages on the home page without needing to adjust any HTML.  The two new settings are:

{Client ID} welcome message, and

Tracker Web Server v1.5.400 SVN45 released

Tracker Web Server has been updated.  This is a minor change release with an option to suppress the "active" site names (where site names become clickable hyperlinks on lists of projects and sites).

The new setting name is "{Client ID} make site name active link".  The default is "Yes" - switch it to "No" to stop site names being active.

Tracker Web Server v1.5.396 SVN43 now available

This is a performance and stability release with particular improvements reading invalid or corrupt photos and/or notes when displaying site and building registers.

Our latest Tracker Web Server has been released as a "beta" product ready for you to install and try.

This version has a new option to display registers showing the areas of no access and limited access as a separate list.
